News .. Naftogaz Ukrainy and Libyan NOC sign accord
 

RBC, 11.10.2004, Kiev 15:17:47.Naftogaz Ukrainy CEO Yury Boyko and Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) head Abdullah Salem Al-Badri have signed a production sharing agreement in Tripoli (Libya), the press service of the Ukrainian holding reported. The accord will allow Naftogaz Ukrainy to start exploration of 4 oil and gas fields located in the area of 200,000 square kilometers that have been selected after examining geological information provided by Libya.

      Ukrainian specialists estimate the resources in the selected fields at 110m tons of oil and 30bn cubic meters of natural gas.
